Depeche Mode - I Promise You I Will

Recently it has been drawn to our attention that a lot of people think 'Depeche Mode' produced the song 'I Promise You I Will'.  This is incorrect and we would like to bring this to everyone's attention.  The song is actually called 'The Promise' by 'When In Rome'.

'The Promise' was released in 1988 by British New Wave/Pop band 'When In Rome'.  It is also featured closing the movie 'Napoleon Dynamite' where Napoleon and Deb play tetherball and the end credits start to roll.

'The Promise' - When In Rome
Please spread the word.
Thank you!

Best wishes,
TMR.

  1. Why does everyone think it's Depeche Mode? It doesn't sound like them at all. If anything, it sounds like Ultravox.

  2. Too many people think this Depeche Mode actually has a song titled I promise you I will and yes they are two different songs both are good songs the only problem is you can't find D.M.'s song on an album. 80's music was great
